History
The Redeemed Christian Church of God was established in 1952, destined by the Lord Himself to take the world for Him.
The church has over four million members in over three thousand parishes all over the world: in Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Mali, Togo, Kenya , Sierra Leone, Zambia, Mozambique, Zaire, Malawi, The United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Poland, Denmark, Italy, Israel, Kuwait, India, Australia, the Caribbean and the United States of America.
In 1981, Pastor E.A Adeboye became the General Overseer (the spiritual and administrative head of the church) and the church has experienced unprecedented growth since then. Pastor Adeboye, holds a PH.D degree in Applied Mathematics (Hydrodynamics).
It is our goal to get to heaven and take as many people as possible with us, with holiness as a fundamental part of our lives, we have a vision to plant churches within five minutes walking and driving distance in every city and town of the world .Until every Nation in the World is reached for JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. |
